Hello there - The filters that were used in that model have been updated by the company that made them "Pleatco" - you will now need the X268532 ( Eco Pur Mineral Filter) and the X268546 (PMA - R1) the standpipe that the original filters may have used to go down the center of the old filters will screw out and this filter (the two parts lock together to form one) will screw into place. You can gather pricing to purchase filters from any local dealer or you can source it from dealer websites like www.masterspaparts.com. If you have any further questions or this does not sound like what you have reach out to 1-800-860-7727 or email support@masterspas.com

Yes - it should be possible. We would need to know the year of make of the LSX 700 - if you can grab the spa serial number and email support@masterspas.com that would ensure we give the most accurate directions possible.

I have Twilight 6.2 and this morning the control panel won't respond to any action. It was replaced 2 years under warranty but now there is no warranty left.

I need to find the part number (I think it might be X310220 which might no longer be made?) but where do I confirm that?

Where can I buy the part for this? is the length of time for these panels really only 2 years?

Answer:
by Response #2441770

The X310220 was a diamond shaped topside controller that has been discontinued, the new part that will work with all the same spa units is X310334 along with the overlay X509124 for twilight models. If you ever need part assistance you can simply call 1-800-860-7727 or email support@masterspas.com. Even outside of warranty we will do our best to get you to the resources you may need.

Question:
#186466

In our H2X Trainer, should water in the spa end be circulating continuously during the 4hr filtration cycle? Or does it cycle on and off during the 4hr period?

Answer:
by Response #2438066

Your spa should filter in low mode during your filter cycle in standard mode. If your jets or any button is pressed during filtration your cycle will pause and resume after the spa as been dormant for 40 mins. If you are seeing something different and have a Gecko system (placed in H2X models in 2023) you may want to review if you have warm weather mode enabled ( his can override the filter cycles if the spa senses it's getting too hot). If you would like further walkthroughs on your spa's settings you can call 1-800-860-7727 or email to support@masterspas.com.

Question:
#184313

I have a 2019 Twilight 7.2 and my touch control is dark. There are no signs of moisture and checking my 3 fuses shows that they are ok.

My pool pump went out 2 weeks ago and the pool equipment and spa share the same sub panel.

Are there tech instructions on how to install a new control panel? Is the x310334 a direct replacement for the x310220?

Sorry to hear your having issues around your home- before you begin at your spa, due to your other descriptions you may wish to check your electrical GFCI hookup - Master Spas do require a 50A hookup from a breaker that is dedicated. The term “dedicated” means the electrical circuit for the spa is not being used for any other electrical items (patio lights, appliances, garage circuits, etc.). If the spa is connected to a non-dedicated circuit, overloading will result in “nuisance tripping” which requires resetting of the breaker switch at the house electrical panel. Otherwise you are correct X310334 is now used in place of the old X310220 panel on current and past spas that used them. The programing is the same the shape is a little different. To change you can follow these steps... 1.Flip the spa off at the breaker for safety 2.Remove the skirting service panel under your topside. 3.Follow the topside wire down to the suitcase looking device called the “pack” where your green pc board is housed, remove this lid with a screwdriver 5.Unplug the topside wire you are following ( you will see a diagram on the lid showing you where items are plugged) and plug in the new topside. If never before changed you may see a sticker on your wire even labeled "topside". 6.Often the hardest part is removing the old topside, you can use a flathead screwdriver or putty knife to simply pop it off. If there is sticky residue you can use rubbing alcohol to aid you getting it off. 7.The topside would come with 3M sticky side that you will peel off and adhere to the spa as well as the sticker decal and a clear plastic screen protector that you can put on the face. 8.Flip the spa back on and you should be in business!

Currently you would use X310334 -and overlay X509123 or X509124. The diamond shape has been updated to a trapezoid shape.

Good afternoon - The topside controller is blank on my Twilight TS240. I've powered down the spa twice in order to reset to no avail.

The filtration cycle was still running this morning and maintained its heat overnight. Before it went blank, I noticed there was some condensation on the inside of the screen, and had been that way for a while. Is there a way to test the controller to make sure it is the problem? I believe the original controller is PN x310220 or x310223 both of which seemed to be discontinued.

Looks like they are now calling for x310334? Thanks, Vern

Answer:

Hi Vern- the topside itself if the screen is black and you do see condensation there it may be the screen has taken some water damage and does need to be replaced. We did discontinue both of the designs of the part numbers you mention and the topside X310334 and overlay X509123 are the are the needed parts to replace- the computer is the same the design is different. Keep in mind if you are under warranty for your spa- or part warranty ( Balboa- the maker of your topside controller ensures a year as long as you have a receipt for the controller purchased) you should be able to claim a replacement with the servicer or place you did business with if that aids you at all. You can always call 1-800-860-7727 for any help you may need in finding this information or tech support!

2019 Twilight 8.2 ozonator question.

I did some maintenance on my tub this year and change the UV light and quartz tube on the ozinator. I also tested the check valve and the injector to see if they were plugged or gunked up.

Neither seemed to be the case. My question is whether I should be seeing bubbles coming out of the small hole leading from the side of the injector into the tub? I actually don't ever remember seeing bubbles, but now I'm wondering if that is correct.

There is a strong flow coming from that smaller hole and a very strong flow coming from the main circulation pump outlet into the tub 24/7. Should there be bubbles anywhere?

If you have ozone in your spa, you should see little bubbles. If you want to give us a call and speak to a rep, please give us a call at 800.860.7727

How do I get rid of the sandy feeling on the inside of the hot tub?I emptied and cleaned my hot tub, filled it up and put chemicals in it. When i got in it later, the inside area feels like sand particals around the whole inside.

I'm thinking I put too much of some granual chemical in? It has always been really clean and nice when I've emptied and cleaned it before.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I use the test strips to check the levels of chemicals.
